Making Mantra Art

Mantra art is a very meditative experience. This art of drawing or writing a set of uplifting words can be in any language as a mantra, affirmation, gratitude, poem, or song. Repeatedly drawing/writing this within an image becomes a powerful way to shift your mind towards a deep part of your Self, to commune with your Higher Power, call it God, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, HaShem, Allah, Gaia, Universal Energy, the Tao, the Sun, a 12-step group, or other.

The Sanskrit definition of this ancient practice is called 'likhita japa', written in Sanskrit. If one has their own personal mantra, then this art making can be part of a spiritual practice, to help deepen concentration and purify the mind while writing love letters to God.

You don’t need art skill or to know Sanskrit. Just use your language of choice. If you can print or write your name, then you can do this. Personalized templates are created beforehand for anyone just starting out. Those who are artistic can create according to their experience.
